I have never been very good at remembering to take arnica tablets on an empty stomach but knew arnica was very good for healing.
When I discovered arnica oil, which you just massage gently into bruised areas post surgery and achey joints I finally appreciated how good arnica is. The joint at the base of my left thumb benefits particularly from arnica oil being massaged into it, and the oil is good for your skin too. I use Naissance arnica oil which I found on EBay, although the company make their products available through Amazon too.

There is a lot of very negative information out there about vibration plates. All we ever hear is that they don't work. Well they don't if they are left in a corner with clothes draped over them.
It is amazing the difference they can make if ten minutes or more can be found every day. Thanks to a shoulder injury I haven't attended an exercise class since February yet my abs are the firmest they have been for as long as I can remember. I stand there, mostly in the shape of a banana with my tummy muscles pulled in at the point when I can feel that part of me working most. My cellulite is definitely getting better too. I also read on one website that some salons practising colonic irrigation put their clients on a vibration plate first. This explains the fact that constipation is no longer a problem. This may come under the heading of Too Much Information, but when there are so many people out there suffering from this, it only seems fair to share things that work with more people. Hope this helps folks! I buy Durham's Bee Balm in the States but it is easy enough to get sent over to the UK.
This is brilliant when you have insect bites, it is very effective for mosquito bites. It is reported to be very good for shingles as well although I am lucky enough to have never had to put it to the test for this. Serrapeptase is the enzyme silkworms produce to digest mulberry leaves and produce silk.
A synthetic form of this has been created which is a very good anti-inflammatory supplement. I took this after a pretty big operation and suffered none of the infections that can occur in spite of taking antibiotics. I take it daily on an empty stomach to help keep my arteries clear as it gobbles up dead matter like plaque in our arteries. I am fast approaching the age when my Mom had a massive brain haemmhorage after developing high blood pressure at 37 and having her first stroke at 42. Taking serrapeptase in conjunction with pycnogenol for good measure, I have pretty perfect blood pressure. Serrapeptase really comes into its own when toothache occurs. I take double my usual 120,000iu twice a day and it just removes the pain. I don't know how it does it, but it works which is pretty brilliant! Who wouldn't love something which takes toothache away! :-) Since I last posted I have found a good, reasonably priced source of serrapeptase, which I believe ships worldwide. www.vitacure.co.uk is a reliable company with a small range of good quality supplements. They have the highest strength of serrapeptase (250,000iu) that I have found at the best prices. My blood pressure is still normal and my husband is still doing very well 20 years after a double heart by-pass. We started taking nattokinase as well a couple of years ago as this reduces blood stickiness, and a capsule is a far more palatable way of consuming natto, which according to a food programme on TV, smells and tastes vile! Both serrapeptase and nattokinase are enzymes, so need to be taken on an empty stomach, if not they will just behave as a digestive enzyme. We take ours at night. |
